Welcome to the Cahir Equestrian Centre
Located just outside the heritage town of Cahir in the south of county Tipperary, Ireland, the centre provides a wide range of equestrian services. Horse riding lessons are available for all age groups with tuition from experienced instructors; both flat work and showjumping are catered for.
We have a floodlit all-weather outdoor arena, a cross-country course and offer pony trekking excursions through Cahir Park*, alongside the river Suir and over equestrian farmland. All of this is amongst the magnificent scenery of the Golden Vale and bounded by the Galty mountains, the Knockmealdown mountains and Slievenamon.
In the school holidays we run very popular pony camps with riders grouped by experience. Specialised one day riding camps are also offered, as are birthday parties for young horse enthusiasts.
We have a sister equestrian centre in Thurles and offer unique horse riding holidays for children between the two centres with accommodation at the Thurles Equestrian Centre.
Our facilities, horses and procedures are regularly checked for AIRE approval, which provides our clients with the assurance that we meet the highest standards established for equestrian centres in Ireland.
We also have ponies and horses available for purchase.
